Ford Motor Company's Q1 Award CEC Controls Company Inc. has been awarded the Ford Motor Company Q1 Award for the Year 2000. The Q1 award is issued from Ford to the suppliers that have sustained levels of excellence in their systems and performance resulting in complete customer satisfaction. In addition, the intent of the Q1 program is to continuously improve Ford’s suppliers performance as measured in the categories of quality, cost, timing and delivery. ISO 9001-2000 ISO, the International Organization for Standardization, is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies.The 9000 series of standards addresses quality management concepts, including a model for quality assurance requirements. ISO 9001-2000 requirements are aimed primarily at achieving customer satisfaction by preventing nonconformity at all stages of design through servicing.         Michigan Works! for Veterans During the months of August, July and September of 2001, the Michigan department of Career Development(MDCD) conducted a campaign entitled " Michigan Works! for Veterans ".
